Contributor Terms of Service

By submitting photos to AeroSpottle you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully before uploading any content.

1. Ownership and Rights

You must own the copyright to any photo you submit, or hold a licence that permits you to grant AeroSpottle the rights described in these Terms. By submitting a photo you confirm that you have the right to do so.

You retain full ownership of your photos. You grant AeroSpottle a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, host, and use your submitted photos within the AeroSpottle game and website.

2. Content Standards

All submitted photos must:

• Depict real aircraft, airports, or airline liveries relevant to the game
• Be clear enough to be used as a guessing challenge
• Not contain watermarks, logos, or overlaid text that identify the subject
• Not contain offensive, explicit, or unrelated content
• Not violate any third party's intellectual property rights

AeroSpottle reserves the right to reject any submission that does not meet these standards.

3. Review Process

All submitted photos are reviewed by AeroSpottle before being added to the game. We may edit metadata (category, tags, difficulty) associated with your submission. We may decline submissions at our discretion without providing a reason.

4. Attribution

Where you request credit, we will display your username alongside your photo in the game. If you do not want to be credited, leave the credit field blank when submitting.

5. Removal

You may request removal of your submitted photos at any time by contacting us at contact@aerospottle.com. We will remove the photo from active use within a reasonable timeframe. Note that photos already served via CDN cache may remain accessible briefly after removal.

6. No Compensation

Photo submissions are voluntary. Contributors are not compensated financially. Contributing earns you recognition within the AeroSpottle community and the Contributor badge on your profile.
